The Course: Glenn Lake Cunningham (‘Lake C’) is a tree-lined 1438+ acre park with rolling hills and scenic views of the lake. The trail is mostly single track and equestrian trails with stretches of mowed grass that wind in and out of wooded areas.
From 5 miles to 50k, there is a race for everyone.

New in 2014: The 2014 G.O.A.T.z 50k is proud to be one of 10 races in the newly formed Nebraska USATF Grand Prix racing series beginning with The Leprechaun Chase 10k in March and ending with the G.O.A.T.z 50k on October 26. The series is meant to improve competition and build community between runners in Nebraska. More info here
In order to encourage more runners to try Omaha area trails, there will be no late registration for runners wishing to participate in the 5 mile race this year.
Cutoff Times: 5:00 p.m. (9 Hours)
Timing: Chip timing provided by
Red Dirt Running Company
Drop Bags: A designated drop bag area will be under a tent in the start/finish area. Please mark your bags clearly with your name and bib number.
Course Markings: The course will be well marked with directional arrows, orange tape, and ground markings.
Aid Stations/Water Stops: 2 fully stocked, buffet style aid stations (Start/Finish and Mid-loop). 2 unmanned water stops (approximately mile 2.5 and mile 8 of each loop). Unmanned water stations are cupless. No bottle, no drinky.
Pacers: Family or friends are welcome to accompany their runner for the last lap of the G.O.A.T.z 50k
Transfers and Refunds: Transfers to different race times may be approved by a race director prior to the race date.

Medical: An ambulance and medics will be onsite.
Post Race Massage: Provided by Palmer Massage Therapy and Schmitt Chiropractic and Rehab
Travel and Lodging:
Weather: Average temperatures this time of year range from a low of 41 degrees to a high of 58 degrees. Temps have reached near 70 degrees each of the last two years. It’s imperative you remain hydrated before, during and after the race.
